Conrad Keely is a multidisciplinary artist, musician, and writer currently based in Austin, Texas.

Born in Nuneaton, UK, to an Irish mother and Thai father, Conrad’s early life was shaped by constant movement. Raised between Thailand, Hawaii, the United Kingdom, and the Pacific Northwest, he grew up immersed in vastly different cultures, landscapes, and ways of seeing the world—experiences that continue to shape both his perspective and his work.

Though widely known as co-founder and frontman of …And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead, Conrad’s creative life has always extended far beyond music. 

Drawing and storytelling have been central to his life since childhood. Long before music became a defining part of his public identity, he was filling notebooks with imagined worlds, mythology, characters, and visual narratives.

His work draws from mythology, fantasy, literature, history, and music, often blurring the line between memory and invention. Across every medium, Conrad returns to the same impulse: building worlds.
